Summary[]
After trading his claim for a pocket knife to Fergus, Lewis now has nothing and spends his time painting the walls of a sea cave with the story of his life. Fergus who has not cared for anything since gold fever hit him is now faced with the responsibility of the prospector's imminent death and tries to reason with Lewis and discovers that there is more to life than gold. Back in the present day, the kids are at an art gallery and see a painting by none other than Lewis Bast of an unknown girl, namely Constance.
